Party mode opens the room on this device and shows a code and QR for everyone to scan. No TV in the room? Host from your phone instead.

Before you press start

  • One device for the Host

    The Host screen shows the answers, so nobody else should be able to see it.

  • A phone per player

    Or at least one per team. Everyone plays from their phone’s browser.

  • Two to six teams

    Players join a lobby by name, then form teams. The first player on a team becomes its Captain.

  • Three category ideas per team

    Each Captain locks three. Two go to rivals and one comes back to your own team.

  • A TV, projector, or laptop (optional)

    Recommended for the Big Screen, not required. No TV? Host from your phone instead.

What happens next

From pressing the button to the first question. Nobody needs an account or a download.

  1. The room opens on this screen with a six-character code and a QR code.

  2. Players scan the QR (or type the code) and enter a name.

  3. One person claims Host; everyone else joins or founds a team.

  4. Each Captain privately locks three categories.

  5. Play. Every miss can turn into a steal for the rest of the room.
